There is a particular multicultural rendition as well. Very topical but best leave that one alone.

AuntySherlock Report 18 Nov 2009 10:15

Alright finish it off with a rousing chorus......

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night and I work all day
(He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day)

You'll be walking around singing this all day!!

SSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHhhhhh!!!
you mean THIS one???

Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die, O brave Sir Robin!
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin!

Bobtanian Report 18 Nov 2009 10:08

.........
I cut down trees, I wear high heels
Suspenders and a bra
I wish I'd been a girlie
Just like my dear papa

Whooo hooo. I've never been banned before. And with all the in depth philosophical discussion on the status of banning currently being aired so forth and so on, might be worth the effort.

Aaaaaactuuuually. I have an even betterer song we could all sing.

Brave Sir Robin!!

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 18 Nov 2009 09:57

Go on double dare you!!!

...........................
I cut down trees, I skip and jump
I love to press wild flow'rs.
I put on women's clothing
And hang around in bars

Oh, this poor little thread. Really needs livening up a bit. Languishing here down at the bottom with the dregs.

I know let's have a sing song. I don't have any fireman songs but this one should fit in with the theme of the thread.

I'll start and you may all join in......

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night and I work all day
(He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day)
I cut down trees, I eat my lunch
I go to the lavat'ry
On Wednesdays I go shopping
And have buttered scones for tea
................

Oh very tuneful...........

It's all CFA around here Aunty, though I must admit I am partial to the occasional Girl Guide! (at least I was when I was a Boy Scout - lol)

This years CFA uniform is a bright orange G-string with braces.
