Sue Report 14 Nov 2009 13:59

lol Rose, possibly!

Thinking about it, perhaps it was that I was looking for Dick Head who was born 1800-1900 in the Northern Hemisphere.

NB To all members who have a Richard Head in their tree please do not abbreviate the Christian name cos the board police are watching!!!

Surely not reported for writing down a 'dodgy' name?!!
Some parents just don't think - and we're not responsible (unless we're the parents of course!)

Just found this e-mail from my daughter - 'Times when you shouldn't hyphenate your name' You know how when there is a wedding anouncement they put the brides surname followed by the grooms - eg Brown -Smith - here are a few. As I can't show the full thing, I'll just recite the names - remember those of you of a 'delicate' disposition - these are TRUE - not a product of my mind!

Traylor - Hooker
Hardy - Harr
Crapp- Beer
Best- Lay
Busch-Rash
Wang-Holder
Beaver-Wetter.

Uggers Report 14 Nov 2009 15:59

I don't want to cause anyone any concern but I had a 24 hour ban this week and it's occurred to me that their might be some people requesting reviews because of *who's posted and not what's been posted*

Sorry, I shouldn't have said that should I - I might have taken it too far :S

Julia

Julia Report 14 Nov 2009 16:03

Well Uggers, I for one, think you may have a very valid point there. For what it is worth. Just my opinion

Sue

Sue Report 14 Nov 2009 16:09

But Uggers, I didn't actually call anyone a DH...lol

Perhaps they just took it upon themselves to assume it was aimed at them because the cap had a rather snug fit!

Oh Lynda, all that ruddy typing for nothing *tuts*

~Lynda~ Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I feel that sometimes I am reported for who I am rather than what I have posted. Would be very surprised if my two postings on this thread are allowed to stand for long.
But then, I am up front and honest and have only one account and one board name.
