Try filling your pan with enough baking soda to cover the bottom of your pan add enough water to cover the baking soda plus about 1-2 inches. Put back onto the stove & bring to a boil, remove from stove & let sit overnight, & wash as usual. |

my mum still has a milk pan she got as a wedding pressy....over 50 years ago and my aunt brought my sister a lovely set from BHS over 30 years as a wedding pressy and she still has them. |
