BUT.........Where's the punishment for the sad excuse for a mother though.??? The children would STILL be with their grandparents should she have had to have served a prison sentence.......so why not show people THAT LEAVING KIDS IS WRONG WRONG WRONG

Muffy you are right, the 'punishment (I use the word advisedly) is hardly going to make the next Mother that wants to go out for the evening and hasn't got a sitter to stop and think Ooh, I don't want a suspended sentence is it. No punishment at all. It might have made it a bit better if she had been made to attend parenting classes or something, anything but she is laughing at the court.

Hand on heart........if my parents had seen that squalor and neglect.........I'd have been bounced across the room before I could utter a word...and rightly so !!!!!!

and whilst it's good they are with their grandparents, what a burden on them to have four small children thrust on them

the mother should be forcibly sterilised or no doubt she will produce more children who will be neglected

Hopefully she will have SS on her back at every turn,given good suport to get back on track and wont have total care of the children for a long time.
