Nobody was going to sing sounding like Karen Carpenter, she had a unique voice. I actually liked some of the arrangements. I had not realised that Dionne Warwick sang Close to You several years before Karen Carpenter. I quite liked her singing it tonight, different but that was what it was about stars singing the songs as a tribute but in their own way.

sorry Stray I didn't think it was rubbish, some were better than others and a couple (including the Noisettes) I didn't like but the whole show wasn't rubbish

I saw a clip of Chrissie Hynde singing and she's always brilliant. I love Dionne Warwick too.
