Dutch just phoned me she has received the flowers this morning.Her friends computer has a virus so she can't get on until it is fixed. Joyce asked me to put up a message to say thank you to everyone. I'll send her a card with all the names on, just as soon as the last couple I am waiting for have sent theirs.

She is back in Liverpool, wasn't really up to traveling but had to come back to see the Drs and nurse.

She was suposed to see the nurse at the Drs practice today, but she got a phone call this morning to let her know the nurse had called in sick!

Joyce rang me at around 10.30am this morning, the call woke me as she left a message on the ansaphone, I hadn't realised the flowers would arrive a day early and as I was due to get up earlier than usual to go and get my vit d jab I wasn't very chuffed to be woken! She was just so excited and surprised I had kept the secret, and that the Gotcha message had been turned onto her again lol, that she wanted to speak to me lol
Anyway finally got to talk to her later this evening and she told me she had to use some taxis to get around and the wheelchair fell on her bad leg when it was in one cab, folded down I assume! Poor Joyce!
She has been and had some more xrays I think she said, you know how hard it is to understand especially as I was using my mobile and it wasn't holding a very good signal - only works well if I am out in the garden and it was too cold for that!
She is very happy with the flowers and so is Ann, as they can share the view of them. Ann has been so supportive of her. When I rang Ann thought I was Joyce's granddaughter Rachel and said 'Do you want to speak to your Nan? lol'

I am sure once she can get on line Joyce will be itching to say thanks in her own special way!!

Joyce thought she had sent a text to her g daughter and sent it to me instead (last week). She signed off Nan, so I text her back and said bye Nan!

Hope Dutch gets those xrays etc done asap and the next nurse's appt is arranged asap too!!!!

Dutch has had the xrays done, and more blood tests. They have lost the second lot! Can you believe it!! So third time lucky for her

When the flowers arrived at Anns, Dutch thought she had sent Claires flowers to her own address by mistake
