They take a bit of getting used to Julia, I must admit, but I did. I had to, they were necessary in my job, constantly looking from computer screen to across the office and back, I kept having to take my reading specs off, and then couldn't see because my distance vision was...well....fuzzy lol

Teresa, know what you mean. If I take one pair off, I can't find the other pair, even if they are around my neck on a thread.

i like my varifocals. exept when you are walking up steps especially if they have line on them.
Not as bad as when I have byfocals I was always stumbling about steps,pavements.

When I'm on steps I lift them up and look underneath them LOL

My Oh wears them too, but he takes them off to read small print lol

Err no, in the sixties the trend was to have inch long eyebrows, I plucked mine and have had to pencil the damn things back on ever since.

I could get a transplant from another area but I'd end up looking like Dennis Healey ROFLMAO

With all your thoughts in mind, I am off. OH has just gone to fetch 2 of the grandchildren for an overnighter, and call at the chippuy on the way back. Don't know what to do with them tomorrow as weather forecast is not good. Hope to go to a new place for lunch, they are old enough to take out at nearly 14 and nearly 18.

when I go anywhere special I treat myself to a eyebrow wax eyelash tint & have ny eye brows died, they are going a little grey
a bit of discomfort but I look & feel a lot better I have tried myself eyesight not has good now I always get my right side right left side disaster have not tried threading but pease let me know how you get on

Goodness Julia, we always have taken ours out since very young, so I am sure they are old enough to take out. Our youngest ones, 13 and 7 love the Harvester where they can choose a bit bowl of mixed salad for a starter.

Ann in Glos., we have always taken them out, usually the garden centres, which are such good value for money. Well they are around here. But this is a new place I want to go to. Drove passed last Sunday and it was chocker. They are actually very good when they are out.

There is no way I would get my eyebrows threadded ever again.....I thought it was extreemly painful when I had it done in the middle of debenhams last year and I nearly screamed the place down...Im not brave enough to go again!! lol
