Haven't read that one deanna, will have to look out for it. Yes, I too have a huge pile of 'to read' books.

A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth...
is a lovely story.

I read that years ago, and could not put it down.
It has so much information about life and habits of a different culture from mine.
I fell in love with many of the characters, and I may read it again.......
'IF' I ever get through the pile of new books I have been given as gifts!

Happy reading everyone.

Well done Michelle, I was lucky to have time over Christmas to finish both as I was at son's with nothing to do.

Thanks for the reminder Ann.

Thanks for the reminder. I know that I made a note of the review date in December ,, but I couldn't find it.

Now marked on 2010 Calendar.

Just a reminder that the next review and suggestion thread is 12 January. Hopefully May and Helen will be back with us this time. Anyone else is welcome to join us.

OK we are three people short on both suggestions and the vote. I have sent out PMs and no response, I think they are all UK so must assume they are not joining us this time for one reason or another. Maybe this would be a good time to say, if you know you are not going to be joining in any time or if you are going to be away, I would appreciate a PM so that we don't hang around waiting. If it is unforeseen circumstances then it cannot be avoided and we understand.

I will now do the vote thread.
