Hi Sue. Sorry, I can't help as I've never been to them, but my mum did when she was alive. Think you would be best to try to find a company specialising in these kind of holidays. |

Hi, Sue we love Lake Garda, stayingat the south end, although we have only gone with tours.but I am sure there are many villas to stay in...there are lots of camp sites all around the lakes, my friends go every year and says they are top quality sites....so good luck with you search.... |

We went to Lake Garda earlier this year with on of the travel companies. Package holiday - included pick up from the airport and also offered several journeys during the week - to Verona, Venice, trip round the lake etc. |

Word of warning dont go to Limone if you have trouble walking much to hilly lovely when you get down to the where the ferries go from, but nearly killed me, .... Garda town is lovely they have a great market right on the edge of the lake and so many places to get to via the ferries.Sirmone, Malcesine, Salou, all within easty reach... we went to Riva del Garda first time, but it was a struggle to get many choices with the ferries. south of the lake is better. |
