Hello all, and thank you for all your messages of support. As Joyce told you last night it is cancer, it is under my eyeball and coming from eye socket onto cheek. I was shocked as you can imagine but he said I wasn't going to have an operation, which I was scared of having to as that eye doctor told me I would. It was my own consultant and he put my mind at ease, we agreed to try chemo again with the tablets, the ones that made my feet so bad they bled. I am starting on the strength that I was on when he took me off them. He said the damage to my feet was because the starting dose was much too high for me, but shouldn't occur again. So I go for my first chemo pack on Friday afternoon and hope it blitzes the b****r to oblivion(sp).

By the way my surprise didn't turn up yesterday so Joyce said it should be here today, just been talking to her on phone, that's why this is late being put on, lol.

I'm gobsmacked once again at you lot, how did you do it without me knowing? Thank you so much, my little angel locket was delivered this morning, it's beautiful and I love it, especially the verse on the back. My warden was with me and I couldn't read the writing so she read it for me and she got shivers and said she could fill up. Needless to say I filled up, thank you so much.

Going back to bed now as I am not feeling too well, sore throat and achy shoulders, hope it's not flu, that wouldn't be fair at all would it?

Caz xx

PS By the way I believe in Angels, now I have my very own who will be with me wherever I go.

I went to bed and the postman had been while I was asleep. He brought me the most beautiful card and a letter from Joyce saying she had 'got me again'. Thank you all, I will be putting it up as a seperate thread when I have got my head together, I still can't believe how lucky I am in not having to have the operation.

Love to you all

I just had a chat with Caz on the phone and she sounded so relieved that there will be no need for surgery and this thing can be attacked in other ways. She is thrilled with her present and I am glad she realises how much she means to so many people.

Keep up the positive attitude Caz
love,

I couldn't find this thread yesterday. The other surprise came yesterday, a beautiful white gold and crystal heart shaped pendant. Thank you all so much, I am going for my first chemo pack this afternoon so will be starting it about teatime, so from tea time I will be on my way to beating this bu***r.

Joyce will be sending me a card with all your names on who have contributed for me, thank you to all of you.
