Hi Gillian, memories again. I've done quite a bit of crying lately, it's that time of year again. My son got married 2 weeks ago too, and there was no grandads at the wedding. I'm sure they were watching over us. Things like that really bring it home to you though don't they.

Gillian just to say thank you for lovely verse, having laid my Mum to rest in November and being really sad that I wasn't with her when she passed away although I'm in tears now it's really helped.

Thank you
Frances

Gillian....thats beautiful, thank you!

Its made me realise how lucky l am, its also given me a vision in my head of my mum and nan looking down on us all, laughing at the great and g g grand children having fun last week. We had a mini christmas at our house, the grand children opened some of their presents and l so wished my mum was there in life, but l know she was watching:o)) My nan was quite small and when she sat in an arm chair she almost disapeared, her christmas hat would slip down and rest on the top of her glasses, bless her.....her nick name was the "captain" ...lol :o)

Thanks Gillian, its brought back some fun/fond memories:o)

Hi Gillian,

We all know it wasn't your intention to make people cry when they read the verse but having a cry lets it all out,no good keeping tears or feelings locked in.

Love and Hugs to you and your family.

I realise that so many people will have their Christmas saddened by Loved one's who are missing, myself included, and yes I know we have to put on a brave face for others, but inside we feel it, I just hoped this would help in some small way xx.. Sorry if I have made people cry, twas not my intent.xx..
