Light a candle


I do hope that people are still going to use the genes candle site ... it was first set up several years ago when many were mourning a well loved & respected friend. It would be such a pity if one thoughtless person was allowed to ruin what has been a sanctuary for many over the years.
Why not all light a candle for all those who are dreading the festive period without a loved one? Let the cold spiteful messages be lost among the ones showing warmth.

when somebody comes along and spoils peoples hopes and dreams

They can only spoil what you let them spoil.

It doesn't though Joy. People's memories, hopes, and wishes aren't negated by a troll.

The many can drown out the few

I lit a candle this morning. It is still a lovely site in spite of the small-minded people who write inappropriate words.
Long may the site continue,it does give comfort.

I do hope the Candle site will be kept for the use it was meant for. I find it very sad that someone has disrespected a site that is suppose to bring comfort to those in need. Maybe one day they will need support and comfort themselves themselves? xx

I didnt see what went on yesterday, but it makes me so angry that someone has been inappropriate on the site.

I have just been to light a candle, its a lovely site.

I have not had a response from the site owners; I shall certainly use the candle site as and when I wish to do so.
Unfortunately, sites do get abused from time to time.
