To be fair, it WAS a bit of a crash course, I think she did well, BUT I'm sure they wouldnt have left her alone to do a delivery....... |

I thought she did pretty well considering the small amount of training she got and made a pretty good effort. A shame the baby didn't play ball and come when due so she could have been there from the start of the labour but if the mother was happy and the baby safe, that's all that mattered. It must have been very scary for her to see the baby not breathing at first. |

My first reaction was "Not a cat in hells chance" but when having my last baby,I was asked if I objected to a student male midwife,I was to be his first delivery. |
