Hi Blue Moon.

Hope you're still persevering with them. I didnt' take long to get used to mine, it's just a case of getting used to tilting your head a little to be looking through the right part of the lenses. I have distance at the top, reading at the bottom and intermediate in between.

I do lift them to go upstairs though. They do say it's best not to look through them when going up or down stairs, at least until you're used to them.

I've had mine for 18 months now and wouldn't (couldn't) be without them. You just have to get used to turning your head and not your eyes to look at things. Keep going with them, you'll get there.

I would go back too. First they will check the fitting and the prescreiption and that the all the measurements are right, I have been a varifocal wearer for years and had a second pair made to my prescription. The second pair were awful. It was just a tiny measurement that was wrong but made all the difference.

If you decide they realy do not work can I suggest a distance pair and a pair that can be use for computer and reading. They work in a similar way but because you ae sitting down you do not get the head movent.
