For me, the answer is clear


Treat staff as equals, not as people you can dictate to. Work out a solution that works for both sides. Accept that that means it would't be your first preferred option, nor would it be theirs either. In other words, compromise.


Unfortunately this idea doesn't sit well with Willie Walsh and his like. they're from the "may way or no way" school of thinking.

Well..........for now it's off..........and If I were a BA employee I'd be breathing a sigh of relief.

In an ideal world........workers would be able to stamp their feet and get results........and rightly so.

BUT now..........NO.......it's a terribly selfish attitude from a sector that are already over paid.........

surely securing as many jobs as possible has to be the way forward......BA cannot be blamed for making cutbacks to keep as many as possible in work over the long term........
