Bless him xx It's the pits when an animal dies at a young age : (

We had a lovely black and white kitten a couple of years ago . My OH was worried about having a small kitten in the house because of the dogs ( he wasn't certain that they wouldn't hurt it , them being running dogs an all ) but she grew up ok and at six months started having breathing problems. A few trips to the vets and in the end it was diagnosed as some sort of paralysis of the larynx and we had to have her put to sleep . She was the sweetest most gentle kitten I've ever had ( and I've had more than a fair share of cats over the years .....lol )............it was tragic : (

Come on.....we need to snap out of this.........I always say " it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all "............for everyone that I've " lost " too soon i've had two that lived to a great old age : ))

I can never imagine being without at least one cat and one dog xx

So do the dogs get on ok with her now ? I had a tortoiseshell kitten called Ember because her colours looked like glowing bits in a coal fire.....lol

No
they would still eat her if she is here the dogs are out the back
but Benson would eat anybody or anything that moves
but he is fine with us
Peggy is ok with most people but not cats

There won't be any "presents" in our house for a while,as my three refuse to go out in the snow. I now have the task of cleaning out the litter tray twice a day,as three large tom cats produce heaps of effluent.

Why do we love them so???
