And if so when do you start cooking it?
My parents use to cook it slowly over night.

not having turkey having chicken its in the oven now will be ready 10.30 so all i have to do tomorrow is warm it up
saves a lot of cooking more time to watch tv ect

my mam slow cooks it over night with bacon on, then we pic at the bacon for brekkie lol xxx

yesterday !

sorry you asked for that Lol!

DO not wash it ........Just empty the middle, wrap it in 2 layers of foil and only stuff the neck end , so the heat gets into the middle.put it in the oven about 9 oc and forget, dont look at it until an hour before you eat and make sure its piping hot.

WAsh hands after touching the raw bird!

I love eating the bacon thats been wrapped around the Turkey/Chicken.
I am trying something I have never tried before..............A 3 bird roast. (wish me luck) lol

Muffy, enjoy:) My mum doesn't do Christmas any more since dad died. Last year she came to me, but this year sister has booked a table.

We are out,but its beef for us,,turkey will be on table but we dont like it,,,,,,,so nice fresh scotch beef,

Well after cooking Turkey for last 44 yrs. going to youngest daughters, son who lives nearby is cooking turkey, just phoned me to share his excitement re gravy, ie. boiling giblets, roasting chicken wings, veg. a bottle of wine, and secret ingredient, sounds interesting lol

I'm having turkey - Son in law has prepared a turkey roll and daughter is coming over (with the grandchildren) to cook it and help me eat it!
Son in law has to work (he's a chef).
