I made mayonnaise once but found that I preferred the bottled variety! TBH, at a £1 jar for H*llm*n's (on offer) it's cheaper than using your own eggs. |

I was gutted, absolutely gutted, to find out that the meal I had made up, out of my own head, and which was a family favourite..... was a proper posh meal, lol... I used to use up all the last few bits of veg in the freezer (why do we always leave half a dozen lonely peas in the bag, lol) and the fridge.. along with a couple of eggs, a few potatoes.... and a hard heel of dried up cheese, even, lol... and it was wolfed down as though it was a banquet!! |

Real mayo is yummy- takes ages to make, and the taste does depend on the type of oil you use. matters not which oil I use as it has loads of garlic in it, and all you taste is garlic, but thats the way i like it |
