when taking the decorations down, i alwaysssss, miss one, or two lol


this year it was the tinsel around me clock,

does anyone else ever miss one lol xxx

We are leaving the tree and lights up until tomorrow when we will be having another Christmas dinner:))) *OH is cooking so it will be good!!* LOL

haha chris, i didnt even untagle my lights just ripped them of the tree n shot m int he box, mine r int he garage so not to far to put me tinsel but im gona leave it up for now lol

LWH, i found 2 behind the sofa, i think stray is guilty of "removing"

aw that will be nice kitty, well remeebr to double check lol

psssssttt !!!!Stray.!!!....*groans loudly.....have just eaten THREE Walnuts Whips in a very short space of time...what shall I do? Oh yes and I found three Christmas Cards in the loo.......lol...BC XX

Ahhh Stray you never let me down. The Christmas Cards stay in loo just in case and am off to M & S to buy THREE more whippy wotsits........they only come in threes you see:-)) Mwahhh BC XX

I havent taken mine down yet,I always wait to take them down on the day of the twelth night too.My mum always followed this rule,and I have carried on the tradition.
I usually miss some too lol.

I think it is bad luck to leave them up after twelfth night but not if you take them down before. And yes I usually leave one Stray, not taken them down yet, will do tomorrow.

I don't think I have missed any, but when I pulled the tree apart I discovered it had a lot of little Lego men lodging in the branches lol

If you forget to take them down on twelfth night then you need to leave them there until Candlemas - 2nd Feb - otherwise it's very unlucky.

I have three "baubles" hanging in the dining room that I forgot to take down last year so I just left them. I expect I'll forget them again this year!

Taking them down tomorrow Stray when the trees are mashed into bark at our local recycling plant.....

.....but we always manage to lose a set of lights somewhere, and this time its the ones we wind around the garland that goes along the mantelpiece.......mind you they have lasted 4 years......

......I also managed to short out the fibre-optic little tree in the hall, and blew up the microwave....... too much electrical charge in me maybe.....lol....

Don't know, I haven't taken the trees down yet... but I have forgotten baubles from last year... Jethro thinks they are his toys now, so I may have to leave them for him... last year I had a candle left out.... and four Christmases ago forgot a set of lights in the conservatory, but loved them so much they are still up, lolol

The house will seem so dark without them... and I daren't have candles because of the cats. :¬((
