I've just got back from A&E having had a rather serious fall in the kitchen. I ( just for once ) was cooking the dinner , when I went to drain the spaghetti I lost my grip on the saucepan , dropped the pan full on the floor then slid over in it and whacked my head full force on the stone tiles . The kitchen was full of the family , who went into "panic " made , hauling me up , shouting and flapping .
Luckily I'm not scalded ( which is a wonder ) but the lump on my head is frightening.....and it's still getting bigger I think .
I've got stery strip things on the cut and can expect the biggest black eye ever to appear over the next few days .
OH wants me to get a tee-shirt with " It wasn't him " written on it..........lol

A fair bit Muffy . I think I'm still in shock to be honest . Gawd knows how I'll be tomorrow.......I think the rest of my poor old body will be making itself know in the morning.

Thanks Angie............thats the thing though ....OH always does the cooking....I've certainly learnt my lesson and will NEVER cook again.

Mandy, I did have a really sympathetic and quite worried face til I ready Mac's comment and then I just laughed. Sorry:) Hope it eases quickly and you're not left with a permanently stunned expression.

oh no Amanda , " do be careful" as my mum would say....always just that bit too late .

I hope you don't ache too much tomorrow, and the bump goes down quickly . ( Dan had one the other day we were play wrestling , tsk, and he whacked his head on the sink ...lol the dent is there in the metal to prove it ).

Thanks Rose : ) I'm the one in the household who is forever saying " do be careful " to such an extent that the family roll there eyes skywards when I start bleating the phrase.........lol.........I really don't know what I did wrong......such is the nature of accidents I guess .
