I didn't even know he was coming home so early so he didn't get any star treatment !! Anyhow he wasn't out long enough for me to notice he'd even gone !!!

I just hope that the permanent positions come up and he can settle there. He's really impressed by the company and they're miles better than the place he worked before...if it all works out as we hope the redundancy will have done us a favour xx

It's a taste of what's to come though Muffy, and it's only Monday...then you get back into routine again, both of you, because I bet he's just as thrilled as you are lol

He's back home already and his shift pattern doesn't start til MONDAY FGS !! So I only gained one day of peace so far lol.

It's worked out brilliantly he is rostered off for all the things that had been planned before all this happened ....almost tailor made !!! xx

It's his induction day tomorrow so he doesn't start til 10am.

The real killer will kick in when he starts normal shifts at 6am again...

twelve hour ones

two at 6am to 6pm
two at 6pm to 6am

then four days off.

I reckon it's going to be a right shock to the system !!! xx
