Hi Mersey how are you this morning I hope things are in fine form how's your Mum & Nan doing enjoy whatever you are planning to do and have a nice day

A very chilly start to the day here in my corner of Kent and the forecast is for a mainly dry day with some sunny spells albeit there is the chance of a few sharp showers later on there will also be a brisk breeze around and despite any sunshine it will feel quite chilly with temperatures only reaching about 53°F today

So wherever you are and whatever you will be doing today stay safe take care enjoy yourself and if you see someone without a smile give them one of yours

And remember that all of us have our time machines some take us back in time they're called memories some take us forward in time they're called dreams

I also need to have a rant so here it is I was furious this morning while I was reading back on yesterday's thread and saw that an individual with an itchy finger had decided to lurk and pounce on some of the posts I have a message for that person my message is what a sad boring life you must have if all you've got to do with your time is sit there and report posts seriously you need to get a life this is a friendly thread where we exchange harmless banter it is also a thread that is a lifeline for some of us who are more or less housebound who do not see anyone face to face from one day to the next it is also a thread that gives many of us support during difficult times so who ever you are please don't spoil it for others if you don't like roller coaters don't get on one I feel better now

If I had a hammer, I wouldn’t be so incredibly inconsiderate as to hammer in the morning or hammer in the evening, all over my house. I’m just not that kind of a noisy or nosey neighbour.

Anyway, I’d prefer to get someone else to do the job for me. Quiet please!
