Kinky boots :-D :-D I well remember them ;-) ;-)

Eye hospital had me going regularly as I failed the glaucoma test at the opticians (not all opticians do that particular test, I am told). Anyway after going back and forth for a few years, during which time I was grateful they were keeping an eye ;-) on me, they discovered the optic nerve went in at an angle from brain to eye instead of straight. I would never have known though if it had not been for the optician. She also diagnozed the beginnings of a cataract about 15 years ago and, luckily, that has not progressed.

So, you may have kinky eyes too. :-D

They will go with me boots :-D

I have cataracts also but they are not bad enough
for ops yet, but who knows that might change today. :-)

Pretty grey and grotty here.

We had a 1 minute silence at work today, and still some people were screaming into their phones and walking around.

Yes Fly, cataract small deterioration so he has
made lens stronger for me go back in a year.

One week to pick up roll on :-)

The Liverpool installation looks better than the Woodhorn one. I think the fact that it was on the old pit winding gear (big winding wheel and mostly girders) meant that the poppies were not on something totally solid and, to me, the effect was lost.

Emma, have I mis-read something or misunderstood that the deterioration was small? :-S. Thought you'd be pleased there was no huge changes and new lens only to pick up later but I need clarification in case I've got the wrong end of the stick :-S
