Maddie, I think knit and natters might be ok if you're lucky enough to have a creative and considerate group in your area.
Unfortunately I'm only finding 'arty crafty' groups where some of the wimmin must drive their husbands to drink with nagging so they have to go and annoy other people. Tend to be granny age with a 'nice' line in pink and blue baby knits.

Hi Island,

Well that will be no good for me, cos I need to replace my lime green scarf.....to match me red anorak, purple skirt and orange hat. ;-)
