I had a wonderful day yesterday. We were a bit later leaving here than we hoped but we made good time and got to Pembrokeshire about 1ish.

We had a picnic first in the picturesque village of Mathry

Then we went to Rehoboth Chapel, near Mathry, where my Dad and generations of close family members are buried. There are stunning views toward the Irish Sea from the Chapelyard.

After tending to the graves we decided to take a chance and call in on a 4th Cousin from Australia who has recently bought a small cottage in Mathry to spend some time in each year researching our family. I met her through Ancestry.

Well we had the most fantastic welcome and I had a couple of glasses of wine with her. We had a lot to talk about and it seems we are both as nuts as each other.

:-D :-D :-D :-D

All in all a fab day!

Thanks everyone for your cards and birthday messages <3 <3 <3
