I did the same after our coffee morning, Fly.

As I was in chargd of pooch today, I made myself a coffee and sat out in the garden with him lying by my side. Twas fab. :-D

I get up in the morning thinking I've got this and this to do but then I find I've got that and that to do first then come the end of the day I've still got this and this to do :-S :-D :-D

Well we've had quite a day - last week said to OH there's red marks on the road looks like some kind of roadworks round here - you should have heard them this afternoon :-(

Now we have several trucks and equipment on waste ground next to us and they usually start at 7 am out here :-0

Get to bed early Pat; it's an hour early than they start here. It wouldn't bother me cos I am always an early riser even though I rarely go to bed before midnight. It would certainly bother a few of my late-sleeping pals though - they'd be throwing their slippers out of the window at them. :-0

I stopped buying tins of QS, Hereoes when the kids left home. I now have a Christmas tin and fill it with sweets that I like. :-D
