Fluoride is a good addition to the water supply, if it is not naturally occurring in the local water.

I grew up in an area where there was naturally occurring fluoride, and I think that is why I have very good teeth, even though I did not have the best diet in the world when growing up in WW2 and the few years after that.

I refuse to have fluoride treatment at the dentist as it makes me gag and almost throw up. I make sure that I use toothpaste that has fluoride in it, and still have almost all my teeth, albeit with a few fillings here and there.

I drink water out of the tap at home and also when we go out in Vancouver, but in most other places I drink only hot water, as I have found that my stomach easily gets upset when elsewhere. The simple matter of boiling the water makes a difference for me .......... if it doesn't, or if I want cold water, I give in and buy bottled water

The water I drink comes from Kielder Reservoir but if you travel beyon the area it serves tap water has a very different taste.
I recall a stay at Warwick, I couldn't drink it. But it suited the locals

Sylvia - I only drink boiled water, with 'additives' such as tea or coffee, and milk! :-D

maggie ............ I no longer drink "real" tea, got fed up with mint tea, so I go with hot water at breakfast, and with other meals if we're travelling instead of the cold water they offer here.

I have coffee once a day, and then it's a soy latte ............. I can't drink black coffee, and I can't have milk. Soy curdles when you put it into hot coffee, so it's the soy latte, by default!

I think that salt inhaler must be one of the best things I have ever bought.

It has kept my sinuses pretty dry and let me get a nights sleep through this cold, without the need to take medication.

Would definitely recommend it to others.

VICK rubbed on your throat and chest decongests and allows you to sleep.

Makes your eyes water, makes you stink of Vick.

A bit of Vick or Tiger Balm rubbed into the outside of your sinuses, under the eyes, works like dynamite at clearing the sinuses but is not as effective as is this salt pipe.

My Father used to close one nostril while snorting down the other, then he'd do
the same on the opposite side, then he'd snot down both.
