That's great Emms.

A 3rd cousin of mine- my very first PM on here- has just had her DNA done on Ancestry. It says DNA estimates 5th- 8th Cousin. Common Ancestors says 3rd. But they have then said 3rd HALF Cousins :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

If I understand this correctly - Our joint 2x G.Grandparents are not BOTH OF THEM our G.Grandparents somehow :-0 :-0 :-0

Thanks Pat. I will give it a go.

I know exactly how we are SUPPOSED to be related. I have photos of her gran, G.Gran etc from my G. Aunt after she died.

The problem is that we SHOULDN'T be HALF anything. Unless someone has been playing away. My Great Aunt would be so shocked if she was alive - Her Mum and my 3rd Cousin's Mum were sisters)

You just put your total of cMs in the box and drop down to where the relationships are and it will show you ALL possible relationships in that range.
