Oh, Shirley what are white roots in the big scheme of things???

All those who dyed dark hair blond are now showing dark roots, including news anchors on TV and minor "celebrities"

I went grey gracefully years ago, now I am white haired ............... and one of my friends stopped dying her hair after many years, and now looks 10 years younger with her white-grey hair.

Far better to get on with going to your chiropractor ..... but ask him first what his precautions are for protecting you, and if he is working out of one treatment room or two, and how long the room is thoroughly cleaned, sanitised, disinfected, and then left vacant before the next patient is allowed in there.

My physiotherapist insists that a therapist needs to work out of 2 rooms, so s/he can finish with one client, then treat another client in the 2nd room while someone cleans the first room. He maintains that it takes at least 15 minutes to properly sanitize a room, really wiping down surfaces (not just swishing the cloth over them), including chairs, the wall where you hung your clothes, etc, then spraying disinfectant, and finally minutes to allow the smells to dissipate before another client is allowed in there.

If that means his clinic can only work with half the therapists in at one time and only handle half the normal number of clients, then so be it.

That's much more important!

Well my chiropractor has an annexe built on the side of her house with two treatment rooms
Hubby used to see the male chiropractor who worked in the second room

So it’s a small reception and waiting area to go in

They now want you to wait in your car outside till they call you in and wear a face mask for the duration of the appointment

Shirley .............. That part sounds good.

My physio is on the second floor of a commercial building, but he has 2 doors out to the corridor, so one is IN and the other is EXIT. No-one else can go in with the client who is asked to arrive between 5 and 10 minutes of the appointment, taken straight to the room, and meet no-one else other than the receptionist and the therapist. We all have to wear masks, and the receptionists are behind plastic screens except for when they are leading you to the room, when they keep carefully spaced.

So not that different from how you begin.

The next question to ask is .............how well are they cleaning the room before you go in?

Well I hope really well

She uses roll paper on treatment table anyway and destroys it at the end of the appointment she sprays and wipes it down every time before she puts on clean paper

Have seen her do this as i have gone in

She washes her hands constantly too during the treatment too

Have been going for many years to her ,hubby used to see her male consultant who worked from the other room

I made a big mix up last week on the appointment and had to rebook and she is fully booked and had to accept the one available spot

I really need my back alignment sorted as it’s way overdue :-(

I have to shield until 16th August (Wales). Have been advised that after that date shielding measures will be advised based on individual medical conditions. No idea how they are going to work that out.

My grandkids are returning to school for one day next week so that means I cannot see them or daughter or son-in-law until I have been declared 'not at enhanced risk due to low R number'.

I guess I was lucky to have seen them a couple of times a month up until yesterday (GP approved).
