Shirley, I guess a lot of us missed the 1921 so it is not your age. I am chasing you with age (83) and, as Sylvia says, there are a few of us around the same age. I am sure, like me, the others look at you as our good example of how to live a good old age. Keep going and keep smiling and making us smile.
You are right Ipads have a mean mind of their own. :-) <3 <3

I am so sorry to read this Shirley, I hope you stay as well as you can for as long as you can. I think that most of us on here are of a certain age, the trouble is that in my head, I still feel young. I just get a shock when I look in the mirror and see my mother staring back.

Florence .................

I had to laugh!

I had not noticed that Shirley had put 1921 in the OP!!

Shirley ....... you're doing great!

I'm 2 years younger than you, and I think several of us are around the same age. +/- 10 ;-)

You're an example to all of us. I'm just grateful that I didn't have to have chemo or radiation after either of my mastectomies!

Not good news then Shirley? Put it to the back of your mind, if you can, and do as Florence says and enjoy yourself and get out and about. Simple pleasures are the best ones and every day is a blessing and that applies to all of us as we never know what's around the corner.

Bless you for your strong spirit, you are an example to us all and you may surprise them as someone else has said. Best wishes. xx <3 <3

Shirley, I know you say you are in your twilight years but if you had your "op" in 1921, you would be amazing to be still here chatting with us ;-) :-D <3

So sorry to read this Shirley. Stay positive, my Nan was given 6 months but lived another 12 years before she died of something else - and treatments now are a lot better than they were then.

Best Wishes

So sorry to read your latest update Shirley. I can only imagine how you feel.

I have quietly admired your positive attitude since your diagnosis and surgery and hope that this, along with the love and support of your family and friends, will help you through. <3 <3
