Picked up a few bits and bobs, and I ventured into the Betting Shop with Beloved to put on our annual bet on the National. No way would I go into that place on me tod :-0

Dull and quite cool here but the forecast for the next few days is getting better with no rain.

I ventured out on my own this morning and even tried walking to the town centre. It was too much really and while I was in Asda my knee gave way on me and only kept myself upright by hanging on to one of those tall mesh sided trolley things that was in the aisle, I gave the shop assistant quite a fright - she thought she was going to have to pick me up from the floor - which I don't think she would have been able to do :-S. Had to get a taxi home.

Also put our annual Grand National bet on - but the betting shop was very quiet considering what it is usually like on Grand National day.

It was a bit chilly, so that was not a wise move :-|
