Thank you all for your kind thoughts.... I am now sporting the latest in fashion, I have a green bandage with stars on it and the nice lady vet says that I was a very well behaved pussy cat, I didn't even cry when she gave me my anti-biotic jab! But no matter how well behaved I was, she still recommends amputation, as it could get very badly infected and cause me lots of damage, as I have no feeling in that paw! Mummy was daft and cried but that's humans for you, but has said that she will not go to Uni this year so that I can feel better, as its going to cost about £600, and even I know that's alot of catfood!!! Naughty Mummy did stop at the Tesco Metro on the way home and made me wait in Bumble, which I wasn't impressed about and moaned at her all the way home, but then she opened the Tesco bag and she had got my favorite Thai chicken fillets, so she isn't all bad!! So it looks like 3/4 weeks from from now I will be a 3 legged cat! You lot have to promise not to laugh at me!

Thank you Claire but can you not give Mummy kisses as she is threatening to rename me TRIPOD!! Its not even amusing so do not laugh with her! xx

But just think mummy will feel so sorry for you to begin with she will buy you lots of your favourite things. Now you be a good pussy and dont nibble that bandage. they didnt do that horrible thing of putting that thermometer where it really isnt dignified did they?

Yes Dawn they did - its very undignified isn't it? But I was my normal regal self and didn't even flinch! Actually I quite like the green look and I haven't really paid it that much attention but the vet lady did give Mummy the roll and showed her how to re-apply it if I do take a fancy to it! ;o)

Uh bless. Oh well, you know, dogs or cats don't actually need 4 legs. If it makes your mum feel any better, my vet bill for my boy Zeus was over £2.5 grand, but hey your worth it and so is my boy!!

Oooh is Zeus one of those big things that I tease and they make a loud barky noise cos I am sat on the fence? I'm sure he is very grateful, but that's a bigger alot of catfood and Mummy would've cried more if it had been that many bowls as she hasn't got it and the result of that doesn't bear thinking about!

Heh Clicquot If you lived a bit nearer to me i could introduce you to a very nice girly puss cat who lives two doors away. She lost a back leg cos she was a silly billy and ran out from under a parked car and got run over. Shes a very nice girl tho altho can get a bit umpy if you disturb her kip. I went outside to ask her about how she manages and she was asleep on on top of an ornamental grass in big Ali Baba pot on my front garden. As i say she can get a bit umpy and she told me in no uncertain terms ' i got up here Ok didn't I woman!! So you may fancy her or not, but she can only be your friend cos shes been done!!!! Shirley
