You don't want to divorce him - you just need to use him as inspiration for your next book. One of those 'Little Book of Calm' type ones. 'Little Book of How to Cope with a Completely Bonkers Husband' ... Not very good title but I'm sure you'll think of something. In my house they're known as 'Join me for one of those Bryan moments' Start a Blog and share him with the world! Jill

Hi, This is the second time in so many years that whilst decorating someone (moi) has used an empty Lurpak carton and put some paint in it. The first time, grandad put the lid back on it and stuck it in the fridge and hubby took it out. Thought it was a bit runny but spread it on his toast and took a bite. Then told us it tasted funny. It certainly was with it dripping down his chin. Today my daughter needed a small amount of emulsion to finish off the bedroom she is redecordating and yes, I stuck it in a Lurpak carton and it got left on the side of the breakfast bar. He only used it to make himself a sandwich. Anyone know a good divorce lawyer? Aileen xxx

I don't know about sharing him with the world Jill. He thinks I'm trying to share him with the afterlife and put him in my puny family tree. Aileen xxx

He certainly didn't wash it down with milk. There are quite a few empty beer bottles on the coffee table! Aileen xxx

Oh dear!!!! Oooops Um.............he'll be thinking you are doing it deliberately by now. Perhaps a sticky label marked 'Do not Eat' might be a good idea!!! Seriously though it is never good to put things that aren't edible in food containers. I remember a few years back when there were kids drinking weedkiller that people had put in plastic drink bottles. I hope he is OK Sue

He's fine Sue. Probably has pink blood now! No seriously he's alright. He never swallowed any of it (drat -back to the drawing board). I don't know why I do that with paint. I never do it with anything else as it is dangerous as you say. Aileen xxx

Aileen, what you need is practise ... Here's one I wrote earlier (several years ago now): It's called 'Widow Woman' They buried him fast And they buried him deep And everyone thinks That he died in his sleep. They saw that I loved him They saw how I cared Yet I thought at the service That some of them stared. But I can’t really say I’ve committed a crime I just know my poisons And I had the time.
