How old is he Hayley? When my little boy was nearly 5 he got rushed to hospital & the nurse tried (& tried & tried) to get some blood out of his foot. Any time now he has to go to hospital or doctors he says '' I won't get another bloody foot will I?' :-(

Hi Hayley1 I hate taking mine for jabs too - I don't have any sort of needle phobia and if I could I would take it for them - and for your boy too. Pop to the bakers and get a huge gooey cake, give it to him just as they prepare the jab - that's what I did the last time and she hardly felt it as she was enjoying the cake so much. Good luck hon. (((hugs))) to you and S xx

Mrs P You will probably have left now, but I do sympathise with you - my eldest is absolutely petrified. From a traumatic time at the hospital a few years ago, where she had to have numerous injections in her bone, she has a massive fear of needles. Hubby had to come out of work when she was 12 yrs old, cost us a new mobile phone!! We were dreading what we'd have to bribe her with this time but thank goodness, even though she cried, she managed to sit still. It is a natural phobia - like a fear of spiders. The important thing is to accept it and show that you understand how they feel. xxx
