I have a few but this is the worst -

I pruned my wardrobe on Monday and found several brand new pairs of trousers or jeans that I bought in the Sales during the last year. They are all “longer fit” which, I presume, is why they were reduced by so much. All fit perfectly but all need shortening by a few inches. Had I shortened them as I bought them it wouldn’t look like such a daunting task but I HATE shortening trousers. It is a job I always put off and in the past have thrown out trousers that are too long because I can’t face getting a needle out. Today I am determined to shorten all 5 pairs before I go to work at 5pm. What jobs do others keep putting off? Gwynne

morning Gwynne i absolutly hate cleaning my living room lampshade, dont get me wrong, i love it, its just the cleaning i hate its made up of 10 glass panels and im such a clumsy clot im always expecting to break one, to make matters worse i have a table lamp the same, so twice the pain lol wouldnt change them for anything else tho but i should really clean them more than i do. xxLynnxx

Altering clothes is my job,so I don't mind doing that and I quite enjoy ironing too,but I like a nice pile of it to be getting on with! I can't stand cleaning the oven....AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! Each to their own...eh? Sandra. xxx

i could take your trousers up, if you would clean my lampshades Gwynne, i dont mind alterations, as long as you dont mind one leg longer than the other lol xxLynnxx

ironing....yuk..hate it.....so i pay my eldest daughter to do it Karen

Cleaning windows - I loathe and detest it, and they always look smeary, no matter how hard I try! If I could get a window cleaner I'd pay him the earth just to do the outside. We've got tons of windows and the upstairs ones are really dirty at the moment.

Polishing the floors, they are due (only do it once a year), and I'm not looking forward to getting my knees bruised. Heather x

Cleaning the kitchen cupboards, especially the ones I cant reach lol. Lin x

I also put off any kind of sewing.

Of all the house jobs taking the venetian blinds down and cleaning them is the pits! I do them outside so sometimes if the weather's bad I have a very good excuse not to. lol I'd gladly do your hems Gwynne if I lived a bit nearer, was a sewer by trade and....... I like ironing........am I a strange woman!! Mau :0)

Today 'everything' lol - anyother day 'the same' lol lol :o)) especially when l'm on me puter;~) Going now to hoover before sister gets here - 0hh just remembered, l can't hoover cause we had the pest people in and they said don't hoover for 2 wks, which is up on Sat and then we have to have it done again Monday - so guess what - STILL NO HOOVERING:o)))) (we had carpet moths - grrrr) jude:o)
