and a happy friday to you , i hope all are well...looks like another nice day here.. well i think so anyway, i only had the curtains open for about 30 seconds until i saw my cat chasing a mouse round the garden.. the wimp that i am shut the curtains again and pretended all was well..lol oh and i put the lock on the cat flap as his usual practise is to bring his trophy home to mum... normally headless which is not really something i treasure... yuck!UPDATE****** i just went to wake the gilrs and found a dead mouse in the hall.... then my daughetr came down and found another in the lounge.. i had somehow missed them when i came down earlier... the cat is now grounded!!!

good morning glad we dont have a cat We were given an apple tree the other day so hubby was digging a hole to put it into and dug up the hamster that had been buried there for about 10 years. Didnt unwrap it to look but put it straight into the bin. Daughter would be heart broken if she knew and would expect another burial ceremony

Good morning all A cloudier day but still dry. I can't remember when we last had rain here in this part of the far south east. The garden has huge cracks across the grass and is rock hard. A lockable cat flap sounds a good idea. My sister would be interested in that. Her cats love to bring trophies home. One tried to get a wood pigeon through the flap once..... feathers everywhere.
