I am on Tramadol and Diclofenac permanently - can't manage with out them... The Diclofenac made me sick and even bring up blood (good for losing weight but not so healthy) so I went back to the Dr. I now take Diclofenac with Misoprostol in them. The Misoprostol protects your stomach so now I don't have anymore probs. Hope you get sorted out soon. Gaynor :-)

Hi Liz & Bryan Liz - he gave me Diclofenac - and you are spot on - I can't afford to keep shelling out £7 on more prescriptions - especially when the drugs don't suit - like I have said before, you can't take the stuff back and get a refund :O(

Hi Bryan, too much info my friend, is your computer in the loo? lol I think Anne is fed up paying for a prescription that isn't doing any good and thinks if she goes back it will mean yet another cost for different pills and it is more expensive than buying the Nurofen! Might be wrong, but got that impression a while ago. I have been on voltarol -well, cheaper equivalent - and they haven't been a problem, they are for my fm and my shoulder, I usually only take them occasionally for the fm but have thad to do three a day because of the pain in my shoulder, still isn't totally right.

anne matey, just got up for a wee, but i'm sure you didn't want to know that :o) most painkillers will upset your tummy, if given a strong dose, only nurofen, and paracetamol will help the pain without the side affects, please go to your doctor sooner rather than later, it's silly suffering in silence, you pay your doctor his / her wages, so you call the tune, not them, remember they are a general practioner, ' master of none '.... bryan.
