Lynda, I will give you that, it is made of fine white flour, and if you could serve manchet you would have been wealthy Well done everyone Dee ;-))) The answers are 1 5shillings or 25p in present day currency 2 Wool 3 Eat it (chicken) 4 A linen cloth stiffened with gum 5 A toilet 6 A bastard 7 Alcohol and possibly sugar or spices 8 Flour, it is a loaf made from fine white flour 9 A widow or widower 10 Grinding corn
