One of the Indiana Jones films, can't remember which one, when his enemy is standing opposite him with a big knife wielding it round his head threateningly and Indiana Jones gets so bored with him, he just takes out his gun and shoots him. Also love loads of different lines in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid, the one where Sundance won't jump off a cliff because he can't swim and Butch says 'don't worry the fall will probably kill you' or words to that effect |

Jean/Gwynne - I bought my brother It's a Mad, Mad ..... on dvd last Xmas -it's his favourite film. I love lots of scenes from Airplane! Also, the little old dear in A Fish called Wanda whose dogs keep being killed unintentionally by animal lover Michael Palin! Years ago, when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out - people were clapping at the scene mentioned earlier. Debby |

10 with Dudley Moore. When the vicar's old lady helper brings in some tea and (how can I put it delicately) breaks wind whilst bending over to put the tray down. The dog runs out cos he's usually blamed. Dudley does his best not to crease up. Gets me everytime. pmsl Caz |

Life of Brian always reduces me to hysterics, it doesn't matter how may times I see it and how much I know what's coming. Gwynne |

I agree, the more that you watch them the less funny they are--I think it's just that at the time they are out of character and take you by surprise! |

Charlie - that was the funniest clip when you saw it originally! along with he scene in Crocodile Dundee 'no thats a knife' and the scene of the giant marshmallow man in Ghostbusters. I remember laughing so much, it hurt. The trouble is I've seen these scenes too many times now so they've lost their impact. (or maybe my sense of humour has changed?) |

I like the scene in Young Frankenstein where Victor is saying goodbye to his girlfriend and he goes to hug her and she says Taffeta darling, and he repliesTaffeta sweetheart (thinking it's romantic) but she means she doesn't want him to touch her taffeta dress incase it gets crushed! Lorrainex |

Hi Mummy :-) I thought it was part of the script. i remember seeing a programme about OFAH and they said that David Jason was a genius because you don't fall like that in real life and that you instinctively put your arms out to protect yourself. It was hilarious though! That was the first scene I thought of, |

Most of you are too young to remember It's a Mad, Mad World which is the funniest film I have ever seen.... but the bit near the end where most of the cast are on a fire engine's extended ladder is so funny I can't watch it without thinking I'm going to have a heart attack from laughing. Should state, if you haven't already guessed.... I love slapstick. Jean x. |

Life of Brian The crowds gather outside Brian's house and are calling for him. His mother opens the shutters and shouts, 'He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy'. Cracks me up every time. Gwynne |
