I'd have to say White Christmas and of course It's a wonderful life miracle on42nd street christmas carol - Alistar Sims and the Bells of St Mary even thou not really Christmas it's always on at that time of year.

'Meet me in St. Louis' One of my all time favourites. Especially the scene where Judy Garland sings to Margaret O'Brien.......'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas',a real tearjerker. Have the film and usually watch it Christmas Eve. Might not this year, too sad. Mau

Haven't done the film thread for so long I am really rusty now. The Snowman. Loved that. Met the author in a book shop in Guildford I think several years ago. Lovely man. What's the one with Tom Hanks, The something Express, liked that too. Peter Pan, the one with Robin Williams. Then there was Merry Xmas Mr Lawrence. No back to the children's ones I think. Aileen xx

that's mine Aileen-The bit where he comes through all the hard times and he's holding his daughter under the xmas tree- And she says about the angels!!!! wow. makes me sob every time!!! Felt so sorry for him in that how he always wanted to get away-reading national geographic and all and he never did-makes you think for sure!!! catherine xx
