Puss - could be worse - Public toilet sign and telephone box sign could be pointing to your house................. Em - ok we know you have cleaned your windows - I did mine last week and as per norm it rained on them so they really could do with doing again . BUT showers and rain promised for tomorrow and Friday - so they can wait. Me - house over the road - which is very narrow - not the house the road. Mary in Spain xx

They converted an old barn opposite our house about 10yrs ago then planted Leylandi behind the existing hedge. Owner tops it occasionally, usually in the Spring!! Silly really because from upstairs I can see over it.

Look out over the Channel from the front and into the garden at the back, which is very large and full of trees with lots of birdsong, beyond that is a very Ancient Church Circa.890ad. Lovely and Quiet normally and when the bells are ringing its really even better. Hal.

Hal - you are lucky having nice sounding bells - well the church has - we have two churches by us one to the front and one to the back - both can be seen from roof terrace - but they are not the same as English churches - they just go bong at all times of the day and even night. Church clocks strike at different times too - can be a problem at mid night on New Years Eve - lol Take care Mary in Spain xx

Mrs Badcrumble Report 15 Nov 2006 15:38

View out the front is usually boring - just the houses opposite, but about once a week the neighbour on the corner stands in his front garden naked and smacks his bare bottom with a slipper.
