And yet I thought it was interesting, that when he read out the breakdown of the various ethnicities, I thought I could see those ethnic traits in their appearance. The very posh elderly lady - she was a descendant of Gengis Khan, and I could see the Mongolian look as soon as he said it. Also, the first man was told that he should 'look for an event within the last 5 generations on his father's side' to explain part of his ethnicity - cor, can you imagine doing your family tree with a clue like that! I didnt understand how they could say she was descended fro Ghengis Khan. Do they have his DNA to match it up with?

Yes Paul, there is a sample of Genghis Khan's DNA somewhere. This is slightly misleading information of course, because Gengis Khan had a father, possibly brothers, a grandfather, uncles etc, who would have all shared the same Y chromosome, but yes, she certainly fitted into the Gengis Khan 'clan'. Paul, They reckon old' Ghengis' was rather generous with his Favours and spread it about a bit, also that a vast majority of the population are somehow related to him, 'Attilla the Hun' was also in the same catigory, so I don,t know if you could call that 'Exotic' or 'Erotic',Whatever he seemed to have a right old time in between Looting and Pillaging. Hal. :o)))))>
