Last night's programme was about mainly the west coast of Scotland. I loved the last series and thoroughly enjoying this second series. I know Scotland has some beautiful scenery and history etc. but..... considering my forefathers were Scottish I felt absolutely no connection at all with this part of the country. Odd isn't it.....? |

Having said that.... me and a good friend walked, backpacked and camped through North Devon and down as far as Tintagel for 6 weeks in the summer. Loved it (and I'm 60) lol |

I have ancestors from Somerset/Wiltshire area and, of course, Rosses all from the East coast of Scotland. I just don't feel any connection to Scotland particularly though; strange that..... |

I recorded it as I hoped to get a glimpse of my mums cousins hotel at blackwaterfoot. I have been there before and seen it in holiday brochures but would have been nice to see it on tele but alas no such luck lol |

The series is very interesting, but can't work out why they are 'jumping around' this series. Last time they worked round in chronological order? Angela |

My mother who is 81 worked at the munitions site at Ardeer so she was thrilled to see it . I have rellies on Arran and have been many times, beautiful place. I do think they labour the point sometimes as when blowing up the boxes. The last series was a bit slicker. Jeanie A. |

I have not been many times to Arran and when we go we tend to go just to mums cousins hotel. Have a meal or swim in their pool then back to the ferry again. Maybe one day I will go exploring the hills and mountains up that way We had an open top bus ride around Rothesay a couple of years back and that was great and of course we saw Arran from the top of the bus. |
