Homework help please - Ancient Greek Words -FOUND

Can anyone help? My 10 year old has to find 10 commonly used words in English that drive from Ancient Greek Words. I had a little google but couldn't really come up with anything. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Selena |

I just went on google and typed 'words derived from greek' loads of pages came up but I clicked on wikipedia and loads of words came up plus how they came about and the greek meaning. Hope this helps Jackie |
