I just went on google and typed 'words derived from greek' loads of pages came up but I clicked on wikipedia and loads of words came up plus how they came about and the greek meaning. Hope this helps Jackie

Can anyone help? My 10 year old has to find 10 commonly used words in English that drive from Ancient Greek Words. I had a little google but couldn't really come up with anything. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Selena
