I recently went to a village fete near to where I live. In the village hall laid out on tables was all the fruit and vegetables grown by villagers together with jams and cakes for judging. They had an section for kids and the kids were asked to grow watercress in unusual objects. Yes you've guessed it, a child had grown watercress between a set of false teeth!!!! Yuk!! |

As soon as I read the title, Ladylol, I remembered Steptoe & Son, where the old man took out his teeth and used the top set to make the pattern round the pie he had just made.......you can imagine the response from Harold.....ugh.... |

Many years ago when I first came out to the uk I was agency nursing and used to get sent to work in a lot of rest homes, and hospital wards for the elderly. One of the jobs you had to do was help them clean there false teeth after a meal. One bright little spark decided one day that to save time after breakfast she would collect all the false teeth and wash them at once!!!!!!! PMSL It took weeks for them to figure out who owned what teeth.:-) |
