Simon, have the hump? Never! :-) I do agree though, he is honest, and it would do some singers good to actually listen to what he's saying. For example, I was watching Pop Idol or X Factor USA once, and Simon told one singer that although he wasn't 'right' for that competition, he - Simon - would pay to see him in cabaret, as he was definite cabaret material. What was the reaction of the singer? 'The ***** said I was no good! The *******!' and stormed off in a huff. |

I think the contestants value Simon's opinion over the other two judges. The show has become more of a competition between the judges than the contestants in my opinion. |
