Anyone else having problems sending emails with BT Yah**? I click on 'compose' and everything looks okay, can add the address and subject, but I do not have a box in which to type my message. Contacted them and response was to do temporary internet files and cookies - I do those regularly but did tried again - made no difference. Have had this problem all week. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Maureen

BT Yahoo are having major technical problems - been going on for almost a week now. I was unable to read emails yesterday and today their homepage is out-of-date - yesterdays news and TV listings. Stella

Sheila, Thanks for that info. Just had another of their automatic messages saying they will reply in 24 hrs. Oh well I suppose I will have to wait another few days. Maureen

Anyone else still having problems? Have now lost the drop down list of sites that I have visited - not the history list nor bookmarks - but the one that shows the site you are currently on. This is currently showing http://www. genes etc but has the drop down list which would normally show sites such as BBC News or Doglost or Ancestry that I normally visit on a daily basis but it is blank. Sorry folks for nudging this up again. The only response I have been getting from BT was telling me to clear out temporary internet files and cookes. So I kept telling them I had done this and it is also done on a regular basis anyway. Finally today got a proper response from them. They are now suggesting that Internet Explorer could be corrupt and I should download Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 and this should solve the problem. I have had a quick look at the link they have given me but the time to do the download is over one and a half hours. So before I do this I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what could be the problem. Maureen

I have downloaded Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 as suggested by BT but I still have the same problem - no where to type a message when I want to send an email. Any ideas would be most welcome. Maureen

After reading this i'm now wondering if it was a BT problem I had, I wasn't able to read mail my drop down list dissappeared. It all was just a mess. I did a system restore to before the problems occured and it wouldn't allow it. In the end I turned everything off for a couple of hours and came back to it. The problems seemed to sort themselves out in the end. Good Luck Tracy x

I'm not that good on a computer but could this be anything to do with the reason I am having trouble sending an email to an y*hoo(.)com address? Linda
