My Speedtwin was the same model that Old bill used........ one time we were on the A13 at Barking, Having a smoke, when we heard this sound like a swarm of bees........over the viaduct came this crowd of Coppers( probably been on a escort duty and were on their way home) maybe six bikes all a going full chat........never heard its like since..........Bob. |

Certainly gets the adrenalin racing Bob eh. We used to go racing alot, at Brands Hatch. This was before the bridge was built., and they used to hold all of us bikers up, and let us through all at once,,,well, if you could have heard the roar of those bikes going through the Dartford Tunnel, it was out of this world |

Baz wow Brands Hatch.............Jim Surtees was my era........ my mate that had the Ulster also had an Ariel ?(dont look right)Golden Arrow, he worked at AMC's so was able to get loads of goodies.....and he used to race it.......we were there one time when Jim Hawthorne was there.........Spent many hours at Johno's on the A20!
