One of our neighbours committed suicide last week, he hung himself from his loft and the kids found him. Well it's his funeral this afternoon and there is going to be tons of people, all from out local and community, neighbours everyone. There is to no flowers aparently or cards. How sad.He was only 35. We are all meeting at his house at 1.30 for the service at 2pm-following the car a huge prosession round our neighbourhood to the church round the corner. Alan R.I.P. Such a sad loss. catherine and Family. xx

Dreadful to have to say goodbye to someone so young and under such tragic circumstances. (((hugs))) to you Catherine, hope you get through the afternoon as best you can hon and that it all goes off smoothly xxx

That is so sad Catherine, Chin up girl. You will get through it. Suicide is something most of us can't comprehend. We lose loved ones through old age, illness, accidents, being attacked etc but suicide fills me with dread. That someone feels for whatever reason their life isn't worth living and takes this step must have been in deep mental torment. My heart goes out to the family and friends on this sad day for you all. Aileen xx

this brought sadnes to me, my brother did same 25 years ago. lot of unanswered questions still haunt the family. just try and think of his good points through the day and hopefully his family will do the same. my thoughts are with u.

just wish it wasn't today of all days. My daughter's birthday and all. My mum died when I had her. Now this on her birthday. My son was born and his grandad died. Life can be so cruel. catherine xx

Thinking of you Catherine. Only ever been to one and that was my dads cremation. He never allowed me to go to any of the familys when I was young.
